Adam Shehada

Adam's art explores the themes of humanity and injustice through the eyes of the innocent in their highly detailed pencil portrait drawings. Through Adam's work the onlooker is immediately captivated and drawn closer in order to determine whether it’s a photograph or drawing. It's through looking closely at his drawings that audience is transported to a time and place that tells the narrative of the Palestinian plight. Adam spends on average 100 hours on average creating his hyper-realistic drawings. His debut collection is very close to his heart not only because it took over a thousand hours to create but also because it was hand drawn during his life in Gaza through conflict and oppression.
